ACA has mounted more than 800 exhibitions, published over 400 books and catalogues, loaned to over 50 museums around the world, and built a body of work to serve the upliftment of culture, philanthropy and frontier investment.

Herman Baron founds ACA, “The People’s Gallery”, and coins the term Social Realism — giving women artists and artists of colour a stage the establishment refused them.

A New York house with
a life across Asia
Kayla was born in Australia and has lived abroad since she was a child, most of it in Asia — mainland China at seven, Hong Kong at nine, later a science laboratory in Singapore. She and Vaughn keep homes in Bali and in India, where they were married over three days in Hyderabad in December 2022, in a traditional ceremony. They married a second time in New York in January 2024, in a Jewish ceremony held for Vaughn’s father, Jeffrey.
These are not places the family visits. They are places it lives — and that is why the next chapter points where it does. Three times this gallery has backed work before the market was ready. The fourth is about carrying that between East and West, in both directions.
